How to top-up your Franking Machine via Cheque

① Deposit cheque at Singpost counter. Remember to indicate your Permit Number and Agent Code: EQU at the back of the cheque. Cheques usually take 5-7 working days to process on Singpost end.

② Please call our Customer Service Hotline at 64999284 after 5-7 working days to confirm if your cheque is cleared. Due to changes in provider, Smartech is unable to track top-up status unless prompted by customers. Thank you for your kind understanding.

③ Once cheque has cleared, ensure LAN Cable is plugged in.

④ Press [COIN] → [2] → Credit → [OK] → Enter top-up amount → [OK]

⑤ If you encounter issues while topping up, please contact our Customer Service Hotline at 64999284.

 

How to top-up your Franking Machine via GIRO

① Make transfer to Singpost, details are below. Amount must be in multiples of 100.

② Ensure that you forward the payment advice and your permit number to Ruwiyah Bte Soomadi (SingPost) rusi@singpost.com after transfer is done.

③ Please call our Customer Service Hotline at 64999284 after 5-7 working days to confirm if your cheque is cleared. Due to changes in provider, Smartech is unable to track top-up status unless prompted by customers. Thank you for your kind understanding.

④ Once funds have cleared, ensure LAN Cable is plugged in. Press [COIN] → [2] → Credit → [OK] → Enter top-up amount → [OK]

The minimum amount for franking machine top-up is $100.

 

How long does it take to top-up?

Cheques typically take 5 working days to clear on Singpost’s end. Please call our service hotline at +65 6499 9284 to inquire the status of your top-up after 5 working days. We will not be informing customers from our end as the server is not directly accessible on dealer-side.

 

Why is my top-up amount not cleared yet when my bank statement reflects otherwise?

Even if your payment is reflected as cleared, there are administrative procedures on Singpost’s end that require 5 working days to process.
